Jim is a reliable and experienced pianist and keyboardist who brings top-notch musical skills, professional preparation, and an unforgettable positive attitude to every occasion. 

    ● Vocal, instrumental and choral accompaniment

    ● Jazz and "cocktail piano" for public and private events

    ● Solo or band gigs and studio work (jazz, rock, pop, big band, musical theater and worship styles)

    ● Spur-of-the-moment sightreading and "emergency sub" needs 

Jim is based in Plano, Texas and is available for engagements throughout the Dallas & Fort Worth Metroplex and beyond.

Jim is an active member of the North Texas music community. He currently serves as pianist at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas, and is the accompanist for the choral programs at Plano and Plano West Senior HS, Wylie East HS, the Greater Dallas Choral Society, the Ken Davis Chorale, and numerous other vocal and instrumental ensembles. 

Jim has been the pianist for a variety of nationally-recognized events and groups, and is the only pianist to have accompanied all four Texas All State Choirs in consecutive years. He plays keyboards for the band Boomtown, performs with several jazz combos, and works nationally as a pianist with vocalists and instrumentalists. 

Jim received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Arizona. He and his wife Amy are proud parents of two daughters and reside in Plano, Texas. He is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association. When not performing, Jim can often be found in Latin America, his happy spot, as well as assisting and advocating for immigrants back home in the U.S.
